Professional PDFs, signatures, and photos
Inspect the document customers will actually receive.
Review the proposal
Preview the PDF after your final estimate edits. Verify customer and company details, adjusted scope prices, discounts, tax, total, payment schedule, and terms.
Native item prices combine costs and do not retain separate material, labor, or equipment amounts. Component-only tax settings cannot be calculated reliably in the Apple app: it warns that totals exclude unresolved tax and blocks PDF export. Use the web workflow for component-based tax, or ask your administrator to review a compatible configuration. The app does not change your tax settings automatically.
Long proposals paginate across multiple pages. Scope continuation pages include column headings. Read the last page as well as the first.
Use the system sharing/export interface to save or send the PDF. Generating a PDF does not by itself confirm that a customer received it or paid.
Signatures
Review the representative signature in Settings. Older recovered signatures require an explicit review and re-save before being applied to documents.
Keep a representative’s saved signature distinct from a customer’s approval. A visible signature image is not a separate audit-trail or identity-verification service.
If the signature is missing, open Settings in the correct account, review or redraw it, save, and regenerate the PDF.
Project photos
Add only relevant project photos and verify the preview before exporting. Large image collections can increase document size and generation time.
Native item photo caches are separated by workspace. A photo selected while switching accounts must not be applied to the new account.
Check image orientation and legibility in the actual exported PDF. Keep originals separately if you need a long-term photo archive.
