Sync, offline work, and customer recovery

Understand what lives on your device before troubleshooting missing data.

Local versus cloud

The native app keeps customer estimates locally. Company costbooks, configuration, and profile information have separate sync paths.

Do not assume a successful catalog sync uploads every native customer estimate. Keep important proposal exports and device backups.

Sign into the same user and company to return to its local workspace. Guest mode uses a separate local store.

Working offline

Previously stored native records remain local. Network-dependent sign-in, AI, and cloud sync require a connection.

Before leaving for an appointment, sign in, sync your costbook, and open the records you need. After reconnecting, confirm sync status before changing devices.

Do not delete the app, clear its data, or reset the device as an initial sync troubleshooting step. Local-only estimates may be lost.

Customers from an older version

The app preserves the original legacy estimate file and creates a backup before recovery. If a prior account can be identified, recovered copies stay with that account.

If ownership is unknown, a recovery notice offers authenticated local recovery. Confirm only records that belong to your company. Recovery merges records without replacing an existing matching ID.

Recovered records are marked unverified and remain local; they are not automatically uploaded or reassigned to another customer account.

Legacy company costbook recovery may require support when its owner cannot be established. Preserve the device and original files rather than repeatedly reinstalling.

A save error

Stop and keep the app installed. Check available device storage and any displayed workspace error.

If you can export an important proposal, save a copy. Contact support with the app version, device model, and exact error text; do not send passwords or API keys.
